Rosio Morel I'm glad you liked the video I try to make one every time i go down to DR help others make a more informed decision. Picking a hotel is hard and picking from written reviews is not always helpful. You know what they say a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth humm 1 million maybe...lol one thing is for sure You will have a great time!

nice videos but, i'm still undecided about our anniversary trip. Leaning more towards Majestic Elegance or Riu Palace Bavaro. I haven't completely ruled out going back to Fiesta Americana Grand Coral in Cancun. There are endless activities available in Cancun & Riviera Maya.

Great videos. .we are going in 2 months...what's your reviews on the restaurants at the colonial? Especially the 2 you have to make reservations to. Also can anyone have dinner on the beach as you mentioned or is it a "wedding package" perk?

restaurants are all good, the buffet was really great. I've been to 5 hotels in Punta Cana this was the best one. My 13 year old is extreamly picky, she hates everything she always found several things she liked and had a full plate then went back for a full plate of dessert. It changes every day. Many hotels will only change slightly from day to day but this one was different variety for supper every night. My wedding dinner was in the mexican restaurant, everything tasted great lost of variety. The beach dinner was a perk of the wedding but you can pay for that separately. I'm not really sure how much but it was really nice but a little chilly
