This entire team feels like it's single purpose is to tilt people into making mistakes. From Zamasu flying away and playing the ranged game with the threat of dashing into your face, Ginyu with the Ginyu Force and, let's face it, not a lot of people playing Ginyu, and Baby with his insane assist. Super annoying, but always impressive to see pulled off so well. I'd be furious playing against someone like this.

I've never missed a lotus or majin acolyte video ever and seeing them play together is very entertaining. Both prioritize basics over flashy combos and felt that this match up was one of my favorites. I just feel like majin is insanely good at zoning and I think has the most synergized team composition out of any other combination out there. I would love to see them both get in a call together and run some matches. Unrelated but me and my buddies do this all the time, but doing the luck of the draw arena game mode and playing sets like that could make for a very very entertaining video with another creator and would love to watch lotus get down with that. TL;DR Majin and Lotus = Peak DBFZ Content Lotus should reach out to him for more vids together.

The tracking was nerfed but it's mostly vertical tracking. If you're falling or superjumping right as he comes out he doesn't track as well, but the horizontal tracking is still perfect.

First video coming here as a Majin/Mister Acolyte viewer, and I think one thing that makes both of you so nice to watch and good at the game is that you both have a really composed mentality, have an firm idea on how to be aware of your own mistakes, and what to do to improve. Even when you were losing in this game, I really respect the ability to identify and try to figure out what you're doing wrong. Mister Acolyte also has a really good awareness of that and he is REALLY good at identifying what mistakes he's making and properly adapting to them in his videos. It's the kind of mindset you need to take against a really chaotic team like this. I'd also have had a lot of trouble in this matchup, honestly, and I definitely have trouble being stuck in my own head in fighting games sometimes.

Not sure if this helps, but I often run sets with a friend who Plays Zamasu/Videl/Baby. Here is what I learned in about 400 games of me gamer leaning in front of my monitor to focus on what the fuck is even going on. -Zamasu/Baby want you to chase them. Just don't. Don't superdash, don't run up to them, nothing. They at some point will get impatient and run up to you or throw unsafe shit at you. (Zamasu flight into his air dash / Baby 6S -> 6H etc.) Against these 2 your best friend is the ground and staying on it, you won't beat either in the air and these 2 (atleast from my exp.) mostly jump around and try to open you up with high hitting moves. 2H / 5L is your best friend while you're in a blockstring. They have so much reflect proof shit that reflecting into buttons isn't gonna work out. On another note, ALMOST none of babys blockstrings are true (have frametraps in them though) and you can do with that information what you will. (My go to is lvl 3 if he is in killing range). -Against Babys 214S you've to superdash. (In general is superdash the best answere to baby I could come up with regarding him keeping you fullscreen.) You just need to know what he can do and what you can punish or get 2H'd for. -Zamasu Setup with his lvl1 is (for me) best answered with an uptech -> block since it kinda cancels out the vanish mix and you no longer have to guess high/low due to you being in the air. No clue what to do against Ginyu, haven't fought against this character in ages. Hope this helps a bit o/ Love your FighterZ videos

Currently rewatching Majin Acolytes guide on Captain Ginyu. He breaks down the tech pretty well. You do have to approach every neutral cautiously, and patiently. Settle with his pressure if you're caught off guard and just block best you can if you need to, because ontop of Majins chaos offense, dude has some OD defense in his own right, you will not outlast him if you aren't willing to put yourself in good positions for defense.

Lotus you need to guard cancel vanish way more against his team. In neutral against baby and against Zamasu warp 6S oki and boj it’s an extremely useful tool. I’m not sure about Ginyu because he has setups to beat it I’m pretty sure. Also be wary of reflecting Zamasu boj, I haven’t seen acolyte use it, but if you reflect you have to time your reflect after boj or else it won’t come out allowing Zamasu to meaty it.

Both of those actually get smoked normally whenever Majin plays against them. Characters like Cooler, Labcoat, hit, Janemba, Zbroly, are better on paper due to Ki blast invulnerability or moves that lock down your opponent very quickly so that they can’t do what they want constantly even from full screen. (And definitely not Jiren, he also gets absolutely smoked even with his counter)

I definitely agree but knowing lotus’s playing style, besides hit and lab coat, I doubt he would play those characters. His team of 18, trunks, and whichever he picks as his 3rd can’t compete with most other characters imo.

And if they're trying to lame you out from fullscreen, especially Zamasu, all Jiren has to do is stick out his hand. Zamasu's not flying away from that. It's a free counter

The problem with trunks is that he requires a lot of bar while he offers so little to make a difference. Another problem that lotus is having is that every character he prefers to play with besides labcoat and hit, which he doesn't play consistently, keep getting nerfed or get minimal buffs that simply don't make a difference when comparing to many characters and what they offer
