I tell you something, brother. I love what the Lord affords us to do. Being a pastor is one of the funnest things I've ever done. I love camping and hiking. Hunting and fishing, there's nothing like it. Digging roots cleaning and selling scrap, I love it. Building houses and garages is wonderful. Being a husband for the last 32 years and a dad for most of that time has been incredible. BUT, being a Pappy to these precious grand babies is priceless. Congratulations to you and your family. Your lives are about to be enriched. I pray God continues to bless you!

Lucas: there are videos out there of guys that have built ramps to winch the log up onto the bed. They seem to work very well. I was wondering if you had a ramp also for your trailer, then you could drive the logs up the hill and drop them off in front of the mill. Just a thought. Nice to see Caden helping with the BX. Well look at you GRANDADDY. I am one three times over. Now you can get ready to sit at the cabin with the little one on your knee and explain life. It does not get much better than this. All the best.

Well done! Those big ones are HEAVY for sure. Great thinking. Have you ever thought of using your backhoe with a bucket thumb to lift those big ones? I've had a few logs about that size, and the extra power of the backhoe could lift it, BUT... I had to get a full load of dirt in the front loader as a counter weight to lift it without it tipping back. I'm also guilty to pushing my little BX23s WAY too hard sometimes 🤣
@PeeksPeakHobbyHomesteadАй бұрын
I haven’t. Honestly I didn’t think there was much chance that the backhoe couldn’t better. Maybe I should give that a shot. 👊
@LordBLBАй бұрын
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead It was just a thought. 👍Maybe a good idea for a video on testing the power of the little backhoe that comes with the BX23s? I've noticed the bucket curl power on the backhoe really can move a LOT more than I thought it could. It'll move pretty good size stumps I dig up, dirt and all, pretty well for such a small machine. But hey, I know you're getting a new tractor, so you won't have this problem much longer. 😎

My mouth is still wide open about you skidding up an 1100lb log up that long gravel hill on your three point. If you add up everything you have done with that BX it equals pretty much the guiness book of world records for the mighty BX. If there is ever a poster child for the Kubota brand it is you Lucas. You have found innovative ways (forks on the three point) to make this tractor to get the jobs done. Kubota if they are on here should get you set up with that 25 horse L series of your choice. I bet you have caused so many to buy the BX series tractor with your videos. The little tractor that could!

Not to be offending But ! Not worth trying to cut a crooked log like that. Should have cut about 4 ft off the end that was crooked. When that lumber dries it will look like a snake. Waste of time in my opinion. ( Straight logs, easy turning and cutting, and quality straight boards. ) Thanks for entertainment.
