Biggest weakness has been transition defense which also explains why they giving up offensive rebounds and subsequently second chance points. Teams have been running on the Lakers and then getting rebounds due to mismatch/cross match in transition resulting in given up free throws or points or back to back wide open 3 point attempts and most teams play the same style aka barrage of 3 point attempts especially in transition.

My realistic trade wish for my lakers: 1. Cam Johnson (sf) 44% from 3s. 2. Jonas Valucinius (center) I looked at Jonas highlights and his game is like what Marc Gasol was to us in 2021. Very Skilled passing big. Think mini Sabonis when it comes to the passing. He gives his guys easy buckets as they cut. Mid range sniper..better than sabonis in that regard. Great rebounder. Some nights blocks 2 to 3 shots. I would welcome the trade. He could make the lakers formidable in the paint offensively. Still allows AD to do his thing down low. Basically what we want from a healthy C.wood, Jonas can provide that. Cam is just a glorified version of Kuzma..can shoot the 3ball. Looks taller than that 6ft8 frame. Perfect vando replacement..just not as great of a Point of attack defender as vando, but no one really is. But that movement shooting he has. Will easily be our best shooter. Those 2 could be easy at the margin rotation pieces . great depth trade. Ar15 6ft5 Cam Johnson (6ft8) Lebron (6ft8) AD (6ft11) Jonas (7ft) Btw We are miles better. I prefer a healthy C.Wood to start alongside AD. Rotation bigs should be Ad+C.wood then Jonas+Koloko. I look forward to lineups w max & Cam Johnson. Basically trade Dlo+Jhs+max lewis+pick for Cam johnson
