Squarespace SEO Basics

Hey David, I love your channel because it's very helpful and well explained. I am learning SEO and I'm very new to it. I am trying to start a small agency and I have my first client. My question is. . . how do I know if there are enough people using Google to search for my client's services? My concern is that I'm telling them that they will get more traffic and most likely more sales if they do some SEO but what if they don't because there aren't enough people using google to search for those particular services? Sorry for the long-winded question. Any thoughts you have would be greatly appreciated.

Great question Greg! You need to find keyword data - the best tool (is subjective) - but my favorite is Google Keyword Planner. You can see on average how many people search a specific topic each month

When it comes down to formatting of the SEO title (Home, Pages, Items), does it matter how many keywords we can add? Yes! They are shorthand for important parts of your site, so you don't have to retype it for everything on your site! :)
