Initially I share The Weatherman’s reports to all my family, friends, and my public groups so they are aware of the situation in the different areas being affected by any severe atmospheric systems. After this, I keep informed about the aftermath of any damages and share this information as well. This way it is easier to for my social media footprint to be able to then assist with donation efforts thru the recovery period. I am also a volunteer translator for FEMA and provide my services to areas where Spanish speaking people need our services.

@@mrs.webley909 we had over 700k families without power. Severe flooding in some areas and moderate to low interruptions to our roadways due to trees falling and flooding. All in all, I consider us to be lucky because it only got to a Cat1 and it took a turn to the north and the worst part (eye) missed us. Still the radius of the system was large enough to have the mentioned inpact.

Holy Moly Brian !!!! That's going to be a close call to us. Im on the Eastern side of Cape Breton Island 🇨🇦 . To say we're more optimistic than yesterday would be an understatement.
