Rob Pelinka is the problem. As a Laker fan since the days of Magic. Since Jerry Buss, the team has not been the same. You cannot disrespect roles players and draft picks like they are nothing but assets.

Idk man if it's JJ or Borrego 100% give me JJ. I still have a lot of confidence in JJ and hell he was my top pick prior to Thursdays news about Hurley. I think you look maybe a little longer and see maybe if you can get someone like Jay Wright or someone else that could build a program for Lakers at drafting and developing Players well and having a good system but honestly you look at the options and barring someone else coming up i think you hire JJ and prep for the draft. Give JJ the 6 years 70 million and begin focusing on the roster retooling because as far as I'm concerned the roster is the primary focus this summer.

The elephant in the room is Jeannie Buss doing all she can to make LeBron happy. But by giving him a massive contract extension for an aging superstar that can't play defense nor take any responsibility for his actions, will hinder the role of players or other stars on joining this team. Couple this with having to play Bronny because of his daddy's wishes, will cause dissension on the team that will make coaching and team continuity and impossibility.
