There is (are?) sooooo much data to try to parse. All-time-high-and-higher environment make me nervous, and oftentimes I needn’t be. When it appears that emotion or sentiment is creating a rising-tide-lifts-all ships moment I get worried. Should I be? Dunno, but I’m all about not losing much as I am about outperforming. Confusing times.

It’s always confusing. My mental framework is that if you can invest money, invest it into a stock market index fund so you don’t have to worry about cherry-picking individual stocks.

Are you seriously going to put any emphasis on that weekly negative divergence that started at the beginning of 2018 and took until October to setup. Equity Markets have completely diverged from economic reality. Its just a casino now. S&P market cap at almost twice GDP. Never before in history has it even been close to this. Not even close.

Dude you can’t trade like that. T tight stops is only way. Either you’re right or you were wrong. Try my fav trade I take daily which is a simple 6:45 reversal. Back test it and grow own confidence with it. Today it was the low of day buy at close of 6:45 candle. Sometimes it’s the actual 6:45 candle but I actually have good luck getting in second candle print. On 5min btw.

Stop looking at the overall market and assuming it will go down because it’s not a broad based rally. What happens if it becomes a broad based rally? Look at 84,95,98 as years were we had expansion during a rate cycle and see what it looked like 12 months later.
