I’m so excited for that hard book. I’m picking it up day one And prime 1 is my favorite of the trilogy with Prime 2 being a very close second and I’m replaying through Prime 2 echoes as of right now

An art book for the Prime trilogy definitely has my attention. While a lot of the Prime trilogy’s concept art has been freely available online for years, I’m curious if it might contain some never before seen art. New official art of Rundas would be great. Rip the best of the new hunters from Prime 3.

The fact that the new switch 2 is now backwards compatable, my best bet will be the 2nd and 3rd game will be remastered on the switch with the 4th on the switch 2.

Prime 4 is already confirmed and publicly announced as a Switch game. Do you mean the switch 2 version will be a remastered version of that?

All 4 Primes will be Switch 1 games, so people can play all four on both Switch and Switch 2. No Switch 2 version of Prime 4.

Yeah, would be shocked if it wasn't. The games themselves are stunning, and the cover looks gorgeous. Plus they gave us some unlockable concept art in the Trilogy. Those would look amazing in a high quality art book.

As someone who got into Metroid thanks to Super Smash Bros. 64, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Metroid Prime. I love this series a lot. Was excited for Prime 4 when the trailer came out. I will gladly pick up all 3 remasters when 2 and 3 finally happen, and definitely the awesome looking art book, too.

Ever since Prime got Remastered, i told myself that in about 2 years max Nintendo would drop Prime 2 Remaster. It just made sense, they had everything they needed from Prime 1 to remaster Prime 2. Prime 3, on the other hand, i wish that one got a Remake. Prime 3 had some simple flaws that needed fixing, like the placing off Energy Tanks or how using Hyper mode had very few consequences which made it easy to spam. Not to mention enemies in 3 had the highest rate for drops. Like they tried to overcorrect how it worked in Prime 1 and 2 just bc a few loud mouths couldn't handle the difficulty.

In my opinion Nintendo should have given a comic book company the rights to publish a comics book series adaptation of the Metroid series a long, long, long, oh so long time ago.

@groudonor12 Either or atleast physically rerelease some of those old Metroid Mangas from the 2000s in the US and UK we're Metroid is most popular, like they did with most of the Zelda mangas, I mean surely the Metroid series has sold enough for that by now, atleast I hope it did.

Hot take: While it would make sense to give Prime 2 and 3 HD remasters to follow Prime 1 in preparation for the upcoming Prime 4 release I also think Nintendo should also consider porting Prime Hunters and Federation Force to the Switch in HD as well like with how they did with Luigi's Mansion 2. I know those two games pale in comparison to 2 & 3 in all areas along with them being poorly received, but they both involve Sylux - the main antagonist in Prime 4. So it would make a lot of sense for Nintendo to do the same for those to help complete the story and help get players up to speed with the Prime chronology, and also ensure those games are not lost to history being locked on the DS & 3DS. I could also say the same for Samus Returns, but that's not really important when talking about the Prime series. Samus Returns could be ported much later. [EDIT]: Though Prime Federation Force was crap its still technically canon to the official timeline according to Nintendo, same for Other M (not defending either of them). Though I wonder if Nintendo will completely remake those and greatly clean them up without invalidating their plots and placement in the timeline like how they did with Samus Returns.

Federation Force is not canon and can never been seen again. Prime Hunters would be cool.

@@ItApproaches Metroid Other M is canon according to the timeline by Nintendo, despite it being a flaming piece of garbage that almost killed the series despite it having good enough gameplay (asides the "authorization" mechanic). It makes me wonder if Nintendo will ever revise/remake that game completely without invalidating the core story plot or its placement in the chronology. Same could be said for Federation Force given it's own problems and mistakes, which is also canon in the official timeline (like it or not, just like how Tri Force Heroes is cannon to the Zelda timeline). Imagine if they also remade Prime Hunters and fixed its rather disappointing campaign along with its other flaws?
