Have a $20. and the corresponding #4 in serial numbers are of different size, (one being about 1/2 size smaller) than the other. Looking for name of defect and ball park value. Bill very good condition.

Great video.I love how you go through each bill and give such detail about a few issues that can be on a bill and not just one thing to look for.That odometer bill is a great find.I recently just came across one myself.I had to take a double look at it.And like yours mine is just on the top right side.I’m new to collecting maybe about a year into it.I’m definitely keeping the one I found.Any advice on if it’s worth sending it off to get graded?any advice would be greatly appreciated.Cant wait for more video’s and sharing your knowledge with all of us.

I've just started looking at notes and not just coins. Any info? I found one today and the treasury seal in the ONE it shifted slightly to the left... the green edge is touching the left side of the O. Also, one of the numbers in the serial number is either double stamped or smudged. It is definitely much stronger than the other numbers.

regarding ladder notes, does it need to start with either 0 or 1? I have a note that is 86579340, with this note does it counts as 34567890 or 03456789? I have another that is 86579342

I've been searching for awhile about the ones you call odometers so thank you! I've been a hobby collector nothing serious but in all the years searching questionsand such you have been the only one to mention those...I have two consecutive 2017A $5 Star Notes with the last digit on the right side of each, especially the 8 higher and both feel and look fresh off the press...I also have a 2009A $100 star note with i think with an interesting ink error, under the bottom left serial #, in the word "Men" and below that and above "and" in the background constitution writing, along with "States" in and around on back and on the D in "Hundreds" What would you say to look for in Silver Certificates and older $2 bills with and without stars?

Are those odometer bills worth anything? I have had multiple uncirculated $100 bills with that on them I held on to them for a couple of years but ended up just spending them.

Some yes. I think the ones I've come across over the past while are only slightly off, whereas ones I've seen sell through auction sites and even eBay are off by a higher degree. I think if the digit is sitting 30% + higher than the remainder of the serial number, you can get a good premium over face value for it

I found a $1 bill with the serial number raised or imprinted on the bill instead of just printed. When I rub my fingers across the serial number I can feel them very well. Also the last two digits are offset and the last letter

Awesome ! I have recently found an odometer 1$ note 2013 series and cool because the same last digit or number is on the top left and it also is a #5 although the other numbers do not match up. I would have to say looking at the position of the shift of yours is identical to the shift on mine. Although your bill is in nicer condition!👍

Hi, I have a question. i found a twenty dollar bill that an A printed below United States Of America to the left of the green seal. it also has a number 2 printed below the eagle seal on the same side bottom next to the arm. and other prints above it. Question...I have a dollar bill with number on it which is 19442207....which depending how you look at it could be July 22, 1944 . Which in history the day Soviet forces arrived at Mandate Concentration camp in Eastern Poland. The camp was the first to be liberated from Nazi conrol. Would it be considered something of worth????
