I am SO thankful to MAFCA and Ed Tolman for making this dream a reality! Now we can get more Model A questions answered and help even more Model A owners. Please be sure to include pictures if you have them when asking questions to help us see what you're seeing. Also, please limit emails to technical questions. This is not the place to ask if a Model A you want to buy is priced right. Thank you!

Hi! What an amazing gift to the model A world! Another idea to take it a step further: A lot of questions will be asked multiple times. How about you find a kind of platform (not a forum, more something like an online encyclopedia with an easy but effective search engine) where you add all the questions and answers. This way you might have a bit more work in the beginning, but in the end you'll end up with an amazing pool of information and a legacy which will be so amazing.
@ModelA2 жыл бұрын
You will find them later on the MAFCA website! How awesome is that?

That is awesome news Paul. Makes me want to move some of my other cars down the road sooner and get a Model A to care for. Our 1959 Studebaker Lark won't go anywhere, she's still wearing original paint and we're the same age. I'm so glad I stumbled into your channel and discover we have so many similar activities. You're not a Mason too? That would be another one. 73 OM and see you down the log.

Thanks again Paul. It's good to see the Tudor again. My favorite. My desire. If you have a moment, what colors is the Tudor done in?

It is Copra Drab over Chicle drab with Tacoma Creme stripe and wheels. This car has only been repainted once, colors matched to the original paint underneath.

@@ModelA Thanks Paul. I've always wondered what color Chicle was. Even in Drab I have a good idea now. I did try to look it up once, but I wasn't seeing color that I could confidently believe was actually Chicle. I adore the Tudor.

It's interesting the similarities between the turn of the century in 1900 compared to 2000. The internal combustion engine was the catalyst for cars, trucks, planes and much more. In 2000, it was the PC and World Wide Web and wireless data communication and we see that facilitating home automation and virtual reality and who knows how much more. I don't know how this century will continue though with so many Billionaires trying to end us.

Why not just put together a bulletin board (forum)?

There are already several. The problem is when people call themselves experts on the forum and then deliver really bad advice. It's difficult to tell the true experts from the pozers.

@@ModelA I agree with both of you! A 'better' solution might be a forum that allows anyone to post a question but only moderators to reply. At least then there would be a record of the Qs and As which might save you guys a heap of time in the long run. A repository of this type of information written by experts would be an excellent resource. Just a thought.
