Major trailer repair!!! Lesson Learned

This video shows a repair on our enclosed mowing trailer. Removing the floor panels, fabricating and welding. The local truck and trailer repair center told us to put a For Sale Sign on it, informing us it would cost way too much and not be worth repairing!
So we took their advice and repaired in house!

Thanks to another make all the money I can make build. I have one of these trailers with the same problem and I plan on this year tackling it. I can’t believe how thin the metal is in a car hauling trailer. Thanks to the greedy you guys did a nice job.

Great video. I have similar damage to my enclosed trailer from driving through VA and WV going 4 wheeling. I forgot to wash salt from underneath it when I got back and now 3yrs later my frame is rusted bad. I'm glad I found this video because I forgot about pulling up the floor up. This makes access much easier! Thanks again!

I would invest in a “Road Runner” trailer. They build the best trailers in America. Hands down. They use heavy tube and channel. Minimum 3/16”. They can rhino the chassis. They do it all!

I have an old 1958 fiberglass box enclosed trailer with a rotten out frame up near the tongue that gave way some. Problem is I'm 1400 miles from home with it. Gotta try to find someone reasonable to help me fix it. No fun at all.

Like new that's why I do things myself if I can I will look it up and watch then go for it what's it going to cost you just your time if you have the extra time to tackle these projects

That's right, and we try to put off until winter to work on projects that we did not have much time through the season.
