The Great Fairy Sword uses the same properties as the biggoron would have in ocarina. They nulled the spin for that, but you can of course glitch a spin attack. As for the invisible mirror shield, that's due to that mirror shield leftover being called by a different display list call which was a leftover from ocarina of time. Thus it's invisible unless you mod the game to call MM's mirror or port OOT's over and then call that one from the unused mirrors display list.

@@hananezumi Actually I did this back in the day almost 15 years ago and actually activated Sun's Song when playing on the wall. The time skip worked and song played the cinematic. I still have that save untouched by a cheat device. After a long time I remembered playing with crooked cartridge not long before and came to the conclusion that must have caused it. A dirty or corrupted cartridge save may be able to trigger unlocked songs, or they can corrupt your save. Prob not worth the risk when you can use GS cheats.

most likely game over. mm and mm3d behave very much the same in a lot of things and i already warped beyond the dawn of the 4th day without activating the 4th day glitch and yeah....it just crashed the moon into termina xD

Considering all the sun song does is literally advance time, and as you saw he was able to stop it advancing by entering the stock pot in, as soon as the clock would strike the next day it would definitely just start the moon crash cutscene.

interessting,so the 4th b button data is the double helix sword but great fairy sword actually counts as links fourth sworddata and not a generic c item like the sticks. they probably just never felt the need to give it an itemstring tho,so they just left the one from oot. i have no theory on why the mirror shield is still in the gamedata tho. also,i wish they actually put sun song into the game.

Mirror Shield was probably was put in the game to test the mechanics before they had a new model ready.

My gut says that both are because OoT had 4 swords, and 3 shields (5 and 4 if you count none). The clue to me was the 4th sword being "broken giant's knife". Those are probably there because the OoT engine has slots for that many swords and shields whether you use them or not, and since Fierce Diety's sword is in fact a "sword" not just an ability like punches, it would have to have a registry somewhere. Neat use of spare resources if true.

Bruce Shankle 100% NSR might be dead. Base 100% is nowhere near dead... though it definitely speeds things up, and access to Sun’s Song might help with speeding up sidequests requiring specific times between 12-hour intervals, such as the one shown in the video. However, I don’t know the current 100% route, so perhaps the individuals running it don’t even need Sun’s Song depending on what they’re doing with that time.

Plus, more useful, since if you're quick, you can stop time precisely. No more playing double time, then waiting 4 minutes for the milk bar to open, for example. Just pop Sun's Song once, pop it again in front of the door, then go in when it's 10. Similar applications abound, I'm sure.

Probably an interface limit thing. They still use the old interface, so only have as many song slots as OOT had, I think. Maybe I'm wrong. Might also explain why reverse and double time aren't technically listed anywhere. Still, I feel like if you remembered it, it should work the same way.

MM3D is built off of OOT3D, which was built from the ground up while using OOT64 as a visual reference, and MM64 is a cleaner sequel with a better development time, so I don't think a lot of MM's cut content are also in MM3D

It's normal rom. On n64 and virtual console (same roms) there's a byte left in that when changed gives access to debug menu. I'm not sure how it works but i know it involves playing a song 63 times, less than the 2000 required a year ago.
