Yeah ... No. Its still incredibly stupid that a gellar field stc would be lost. Space Ships were made all over the imperium. Which means the STC was all over the Imperium. Probably the most epic case was when Lorgar was finding his new faith and he sent the Word Bearers' Serrated Sun Chapter into the eye of terror. They turned the gellar field off eventually and the human crew went insane and killed themselves, and the space marines floated around for awhile. This is how the Gal Vorbak were created, led by Argyal Tal. They were half mortal/half demon. They eventually returned to Lorgar and they would try to create more Gal Vorbak. This all played a role in the Pilgrimage of Lorgar, which you can check out on the fandom wiki edit: Argel Tal*

Argyal Tal is liked by a lot of fans, but this just made him seem so stupid. They bring on board a demon from that world with the purple eyed people. The demon says multiple times that it can't be trusted. But then when the demon requests Argyal Tal to turn off the Gellar field, he orders the captain to do it even though the human officers complain telling him what will happen. From that point on, Argyal Tal is no longer himself and he is dragged along by Chaos like a puppy on a leash.

@pricelesssword4559
@pricelesssword4559 2 жыл бұрын
So funnily enough the daemons and Tyranids avoid each other like the plague. The reason? Daemons don’t have biomass for the Tyranids to consume and Tyranids don’t get corrupted by the warp for Daemons to be interested in them, basically they just kinda mutually ignore each other. And second point, Tyranids do NOT have faster than light travel. Their ships are just a massive alive Tyranid, that manually floats to their destination, without going through warp. The tyranids on board just go into a stasis sleep with only the Tyranids specifically made to awaken everyone in case of invaders actually staying awake.

So how come some humans and entities that wander into a part of the warp without a ship not immediately super possessed, eaten or torn apart by the lack of physics? Is it just a less volitile change in reality for demons to notice? You still think they would need portable protection or something.

The tortured psycher gellar field is just cheap in my opinion. Early human colonist without super advanced tech or stc-s made gellar fields. Also, there are a lot of ships with gellar fields, and they don't seem to be a rare technology or "encased in Adamantium". Meaning there aren't many reason why they can't produce it or replicate it.
