Daemons don’t have biomass for the Tyranids to consume and Tyranids don’t get corrupted by the warp for Daemons to be interested in them, basically they just kinda mutually ignore each other. And second point, Tyranids do NOT have faster than light travel. Their ships are just a massive alive Tyranid, that manually floats to their destination, without going through warp. Of course. Bureaucracy is a trademark of the imperium.

@@TheWarmachine375 They are not. Its a matter of life and death for them. They are psyker mutants tolerated for their service for traveling the warp. Without their current job, they will be treated as mutants hated by the imperium or as psykers. And psykers have a variety of uses in the imperium as sanctioned psyker for the imperial guard to psyker fuel for the golden throne.

Now that you've mentioned it, the missing ozone layer is kinda like Australia's gellar field had collapsed. That would also explain all that weird shit that is crawling arround down there. :

That would be a cool idea for a warhammer horror game. Your trapped in the warp, and you need to reacivate the gellar field and escape

The tortured psycher gellar field is just cheap in my opinion. Early human colonist without super advanced tech or stc-s made gellar fields. Also, there are a lot of ships with gellar fields, and they don't seem to be a rare technology or "encased in Adamantium". Meaning there aren't many reason why they can't produce it or replicate it.

9:04 If you’re referencing the event I think you are, they didn’t “enter the warp without a field.” They we’re hanging on the outside of the ship when it entered, and the survivor managed to claw his way inside. For those curious it’s in the Night Lords Omnibus, though I don’t remember the exact story.

If the effects of traveling into the warp without a Gellar field are horrifying enough to make a Chaos Marine become paralyzed by fear, then I can’t even begin to imagine how bad it is to regular humans.

Probably one of the coolest examples of someone entering the warp (or in this case a warp rift) was Fabius Bile in "Primogenitor". It's worth a read. They have a word bearer chanting prayers to try and keep chaos away and it describes him as he is chanting as having blood pool out his eyes and maggots festering in his mouth and face.
