DP lands the hit right before Marisa lands from the jump. So, anti-air at lowest possible altitude 3. Parries low medium, Dashborard Dale tries to follow-up with another neutral check only to get stuffed by a faster attack. 4. After knockdown, gets up and tries to block high, gets tagged in the ankles from a low attack. Now, if *MY* ass can see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch, why can't someone who claims that this Luke is a scrub with no business taking rounds off him? Oh wait, it's because the scrub here is actually the guy complaining about the character as opposed to acknowledging his obvious skill issue in the moment.

Combos at least the basic ones are easy but her buttons especially the majority of her good ones being stubby makes neutral and getting in on a lot of the cast rough to say the least. Like Marisa gets out spaced HARD by Cammy, Chun, Juri, Luke, Ken, Ryu, etc. even zangief is capable of out spacing her with the majority of his standing move set. Marisa will blow you up getting in but she’s on the struggle bus when it comes to trying to survive against patient players especially higher up when most people are adept at button checking her slower drive rush.

@@acecun6202 As someone who played Marisa for 2 weeks and got her to master, I hard disagree. Marisa is way easier to win with than almost every character. To approach I just abuse perfect parry and her super man punch against zoners. If the opponent wants to get greedy, I go for whiff punishing them. I know she isn't a top level character, and she has some genuinely awful matchups, but that doesn't make her hard, just flawed.

I don’t think LTG understands Proximity normals. Luke doesn’t have Proximity normals; his buttons are just forward advancing. Third Strike is a perfect example of Proximity normals. For example Ryu’s st. MP and st. MK changes properties and animations depending on the position of the enemy player. That’s why you have things such as Far standing MP and MK in 3S because its distance/position based.

The thing is, nobody plays a perfect game. Everyone could look back on a replay and pick out a few things they could have done better. Dale doesn’t have this mindset, he thinks he’s so good that the game is at fault, he honestly can’t look at a game and think, “Oh there’s this one thing I should try to be better on” And he doesn’t even think about the shit he says. I think he said the Like had a 7 win streak, well by Dale’s logic he would have had to have gone against other “scrubs” playing s-tier characters. So they’re obviously not “just mashing buttons”
