You can vanish out of Ultimate by pressing R1 but the timming is tuff.

14:25 tbh the only thing you could’ve done after getting hit by the beam was time the vanish. It’s very strict timing but there is some leniency when the beam is that far away.

@@PoisonedOkami yup it’s just r1 but it has a “fail window”. If you press it too many times you won’t be able to vanish it or too early/ late. It’s very very precise.

You should get Majuub automatically if you have Uub. If you're playing DP mode. It'll be best to start with Uub on the team then transform him into Majuub in battle

I saw that there is guard assist that automatically blocks for you, my question is whether you can turn it on in ranked battle?

I believe it's a universal setting that works in all modes. So, yes you can turn it on ranked but as it's automatic, it might make you guard when you don't want to so I have it turned off
