Today the chosen fam discuss whether Mak or Alayna would win in a wrestling match and whether Ashley needs to change while painting their nails. This week’s question: How to decide whether or not you are “settling” or just being realistic in a relationship. Additionally: who hates men more, straight women or lesbians?

Ashley, PLEASE DON'T CHANGE!! The people saying that shit, that's a reflection of them and their issues. The things that wind them up are the same things so many of us absolutely adore about you!! Your two podcasts are the few that I watch without fail and its because of how funny and kind and full of life you are. I am so sad that you're not doing shows in the UK. I have a friend who is also loud, talks a lot, likes taking centre stage. Sometimes it grates at me if I'M in a bad mood but he is also the kindest, most welcoming, most vibrant person and I would never want him to change. I know that mean comments cut through so much more than nice comments (I would be having a breakdown) but I hope that you know we bottoms love you just how you are. ❤️

Fanfiction: Alayna loses her mind after Mak for the 19304th time of the day says "I should call her" So she takes Mak's phone away from her, in that moment Mak's girlfriend calls her The room stays still for a moment "ALAYNA GIVE ME MY PHONE" and she goes and tackles her. Alayna, feeling disrespected for Mak treating her mother like that, puts Mak's phone out of her reach which makes Mak try to pin her to reach it Key word, "try". Alayna was able to pick up Mak and throw her to the sofa. Mak missed the call. Suddenly Ashley enters the room to show off her new bouquet "AYO WHAT'S UP YOU LITTLE BITCHES" The end.

I actually completely get what Alayna says about her hands in drag! I kind of understood it like how Maddie was once saying “I like being a girl in a boy way and a boy in a girl way.” It’s not necessarily about how it looks to the outside world, but kind of the inside ur head thing of matching more feminine aspects (nail polish) with more masculine traits (strong hands and short nails)

The people that think Ashley need to change probably just aren't used to New Yorker directness. I personally love that New Yorkers speak their minds. It's hard to be sure what midwesterners or southerners really think of you, but I feel like you know where you stand with New Yorkers. That's part of why I want to live in New York someday.

Ashley! I have a lot of sensory issues too and could never stand to wear nail polish because I can feel it and it's like my nails are suffocating. I recently discovered Orly Breathable polish and it doesn't make my hands feel weird at all. It's specifically made to allow air/water to reach your nail bed so no suffocating feeling!

I fully relate to Alayna saying she feels like her hands are in drag when she paints her nails, my hands have been tiny my whole life and I used to bite my nails but I realized if I kept my nails painted I wouldn’t bite them and I could grow my nails out so I eventually grew a pretty substantial nail painting hobby because it helped me quit biting and it helped boost my confidence!

Ashley, I got into your podcasts and content through instagram a few months back and I’ve absolutely loved everything since. I have adhd and am always interrupting people and that’s just cause I get excited or don’t fully get in the moment that others perceived it as rude because I don’t care if people interrupt me. So I get how you feel when people call you rude for interrupting. And honestly the way you speak, both the brash jokes and vulnerable parts, makes me feel really seen as someone who has been told off for doing that her whole life. It makes me feel like maybe it’s ok and I just want you to know that so many people watch you for that and for your lovely personality and those haters can leave. They aren’t welcome here

A lot of heavy weight lifters make the mistake of thinking muscle=tougher/stronger/better at fighting. Most boxers don't lift weights like that cause it makes you less quick. Climbing and pulling your body up gives A LOT of practical strength. I'm putting my money on Alayna because of personality, life experience, physicality, and just the vibe I'm getting that she would win.
