This is going to be quite the long comment, but I felt as if this had to be shared. Perhaps, someone else has thought the same thing. We'll see, I suppose. I took a few minutes to look into the Achievements of this game. They got me thinking... "One More Out Of The Pack" - Takes 20 playthroughs to get the *achievement*, whereas many people smoke a lot a day in order to *achieve* their own "goal", whatever that may be. "You're The One" - You are the one who overcame the odds, who did not pass from this addiction, who simply survived to warn others. "Down The Rabbit Hole, Tarred Lungs, Bad Teeth" - You're at the worst of this addiction, too far gone, this very well may happen to you. A simple what-if. "What Have You Learned" - You have to use the back of a library to light one up, but then you lose the will to do what you want, as smoking can control you. Personally, this game has spoken to me on a particular level. My folks have been smoking for years, & they will finally be quitting in a few months. They have found nothing, except more & more stress from it, & they made the decision to put it down for good. I have had talks with them, which may have swayed their thoughts to be for the better. I may have thought a little too in-depth of this game, but it puts you in such a scary situation & makes you think. That, & it's what tends to happen when you have to play through the game 20 times in order to fully complete it. The atmosphere, ambiance (which I really like), & announcer help to create such a hellish place that I'm sure no one wants to visit, or find themselves in. Definitely will share this title with friends. Thank you, Pat.

Hey Maka, before I say anything I do want to put out there I'm in the process of doing my 20 runs so I can't confirm this with 100% certainty. In the morgue section when you have to choose which chute to go through, I've only ever experienced going though 2 or 4. The key seems to be the two body bags on the tables. Only one of the bags move when you enter, whichever one moves seems to correlate with which chute to go through. If the one bag closest to chute 2 moves then chute 2 is the right one. This only saves a few seconds but every second matters when completing this trash game. If anyone seeing this wants to try the tip out let me know if it works for you as well. Appreciate everything you do for us Maka.

Thanks. First of all, the subject.. I smoked for 20+ years. I quit but, still quitting smoking is one of the hardest thing I have ever done. If you are reading this and smoke, REALLY try. It's worth it. I paid the price. It did take me 5-10 times to try to quit but, it's that one time when I really said ENOUGH is ENOUGH, is when I did it. It's not quit and done, you will sometimes get the feeling of wanting one and you need to fight it, this will take a long time to finally end. As for the game. Not a really good game, not the worst I have ever played but, not even near the best. I think the last achievement should of been 10 times instead of 20 times. As for the quests, after 5 times, I was able to really speed run it, 4 or 5 times I got first place on maps 1 and 2. Always #2 I would get first place. As it does not matter it does make it a little fun to see if you can get it...

if the achievements aren't popping for you force close and reload the game. when the game is starting don't bring up the guide or press any buttons and you will get a ToS for the game. you wont be officially logged in to the game if you don't accept them. at the main screen you should see your gamertag in the bottom right of the screen. if you don't you wont get achievements and have to force close again.

Usually you may have to get 3rd place on both stages if you want the collectibles instances to appear, while there is rng, the game primarily will generate the level design based on your place, 4th place usually caused me to miss the ex smoker and 2nd usually caused me to simply not unlock the achievement for the lounge, 3rd place is ideal in the second stage if you want the area that spawns the mouth to generate, the game is to my surprise quite adaptive, im not saying this is 110% true, but I have tested playthroughs across multiple accounts, it appears to adapt based on your place, oddly the beginning spawn area usually gave me the more simple layout of the first stage for getting through it fast enough

And second was finishing the game and losing. I had to wait like 20 minutes on the last lvl then finish the game for it to unlock. Took three tries even though I lost all three games.

I didn't even realize it an anti smoke ad game until I finished. I'm a person who looks everywhere in maze games, got 4th every checkpoint but still made it out. I agree that being last in the checkpoints would typically mean that you will lose, but in the sewers it just boils down to the player's RNG I just happened to be lucky.

Great guide to a less than great game. Some things I picked up having spent too much time with this game: 1: Apparently even though the maze is "randomized", it is still on a set pattern (i.e. every player's 1st run is same, then when it changes its the same changes for everyone and every player's 2nd run is the same etc.) I can't 100% confirm this, but it was consistent with a friend and I'm pretty sure if you do this on your first run your layout should look exactly like Maka's. Mine did for sure. 2: In the morgue (7:15) it will ALWAYS be door 2 or 4. It was in my and a friend's experience, which is a combined total of 40-45 playthroughs. 3: Further to the above, if you do take the wrong door out of these two, you'll end up in the room to unlock "Hurts to Breathe" (8:30). 4: The lounge (9:02) achievement often doesn't unlock on a first playthrough, for some reason. You'll be doing this over 20 times, so don't worry too much just keep going to it, it WILL unlock (for me, on my 2nd run). Reading TA and the comments on KZbin, it is incredibly common to not pop the first time for people.

The last part with the maze, you can tell if you're going the right way or not. When picking left or right, if there is tissue/sinew/blood/guts on the wall, then it's the wrong way, so go the other way. Horrendous game tbf, but easy 1k, just grinding out the 20 escapes :/

This game has WAY too much hate! I just discovered it today, and it's REALLY good! ...For a no-budget PSA game made in Unity, but still. I love the horror elements, I love how most things are kept ambiguous and you're not talked down to by the narrator, I love the symbolism of the areas and how smoking can lead kids from school to the hospital to death, I love the soundtrack, I love the lack of cliche monsters, and I love that there's no flowery happy ending and that you can easily end up losing. It knows what it's talking about, it knows how to convey that message through abstract visuals, and it knows that true horror comes from the environment and the unknown, and not jump scares or excessive violence! I think it gets most of its crap from the fact that it's an anti-smoking PSA, so people think they're automatically being patronized, which I disagree. Is it propaganda? Maybe, but the game is more than well made enough to overlook the heavy-handedness. And besides, it's short and free. Even if it was a terribly made game(like nearly every horror game on Steam), it's too brief to get that angry at. I'm glad I played it, and I'll be getting all the achievements soon! ...At the very least, we can all agree this is a better PSA game than anything from PETA.

I found the mouth twice but no Acheivement?

You actually have to walk up to the mouth...once you see the mouth room go around the corner... there'll be a big mouth in a corner.. It'll Jumpscare you and give you achievement
