Tip/trick- when placing the foil on the nail.. stretch it a little over the nail . It helps to not create wrinkles and applies pressure at the same time helping in the "lifting" process. Hope I explained that ok. But basically instead of just placing the foil ontop and then smoothing.. you wanna hold the foil with both hands and push down when applying.

I just got the Makartt foil kit (2 full size bottles of glue, a top coat and base coat, a jeweled silicone tool and 30 long ass foils that are gorgeous). All for only $29 and change. Such a good kit and now I can’t wait to use it. I was gonna wait for some Polygel I have coming but this just inspired me. Thanks!

I have a trick! Instead of using the silicone tool gel, use a clean dry lint free wipe to rub the design in. The wipe will act like a slippery barrier between your fingers and the foil and it goes on much much faster, like seconds! Don’t be scared to add pressure! Hope this helps! 💗

Great point, for full nail foil u need that pressure! Luv the tip, got tons of those squares. I like the dotting pens lil metal ball for itty bitty foil transfers like stars

Heather Mason no not alcohol wipes, lint free wipes are the dry ones. I prefer the cut up wax strips kind. If you search amazon you’ll find them

How long are you letting the glue cure for? Sounds like you said 2 minutes or 60 seconds

I use double sided tape so it doesn’t leave a residue. I ball the tape up to make a little ball and I stick that ball on my nail tip display holder. Once the tape ball is on the stand I stick the nail tip on.

How long should I cure in a LED/CCFL lamp? My lamp takes 20 secs for colour and top and base. 30 seconds for really dark colours. I can't work out how long I should be cutting transfer gel in such a powerful lamp

It also will stick better if you let the glue cool about 39 seconds after taking it out of the lamp

You can wipe the back of the foil with Alcohol which helps it stuck better..

I've been told to clean off the back of the foil first you know like wipe it off.... I noticed that you didn't do that.... Just wondering if it really makes a difference

One time I wiped off the back of the foil with alcohol like another video instructed me to do and it wiped off the design 🤣. I might've wiped too hard maybe idk? I have not been wiping and each time they turn out great
