I use one of these in my truck to keep hand tools under control. I've built many of them with different designs and purposes. I love them and get lots of comments and complements when I take them on a job site. Great project. Keep it up!

As a beginner in woodworking, I like how you explain things for inexperienced people like myself. I watch other videos and have trouble following exactly what they are doing. keep it up man!

This is awesome! I've been searching KZbin on how to make a simple wood toolbox and watched about 20 videos until I found yours. This one was by far the easiest and the best. You explained it exactly the way I needed it explained. Great job! I'll be starting on my Dad's Christmas gift tomorrow. Thank you!

Good job! Keep on keeping on! Gratifying to see a youngster using tools and making stuff, instead of playing with a game controller.

Nice to see a younger person making things from wood. Nice use of budget materials too. Well done. I built one similar when I was in my late teens and it brings back memories (I'm 61 now)

Turned out nice .I agree with you, I've found cheap wood in the discount cart. I always make it a point to check the cart.

The key thing that made it look it's best is the rounded over edges on the wood. Nice project. I've built one out of scrap wood. While back in my workshop.

Nice project. 1 word of advice. Never use your fence while crosscutting. Good chance the work will bind and kick back.

I loved your well explained video. The toolbox looks so good. Maybe your next project could be a small box to fit into your toolbox to hold your screwdrivers in place so you have a more organized look for the inside. Anyway, thanks for sharing your project.

Those crosscuts will get you in trouble. The work piece can start to bind, then kick back. Make yourself a sled! Otherwise, nice job.

One way that you beat cross cut kickback is you simply clamp a small block of wood to the fence before the blade that allows you to repeatably cut your cross cut length but does not create a bind area between the blade and the fence. This is an old trick to beat the problem but it works. For the other kickback commentators, the panel sled is one of many solutions.
