Can we do this for all colors ?
@spacebluemoth83205 жыл бұрын
1:25 onward didn't work on mine though. After the 'expand', the object were still in group( when I click it you can see the outlines of each boxes separated but still in group ), I changed the color on the first box but the others didn't follow same thing on moving it. I though I could make the magic you did but I failed. Sad :(
@spacebluemoth83205 жыл бұрын
One more thing I'd noticed, when you click your box I saw it in your layer named "Blend''. Mine was "Group" maybe this is the issue though but I don't know how to fix this. Help anyone please?
@anneweberndorfer61565 жыл бұрын
@@spacebluemoth8320 I had the same issue. As I understand it, listen to what he says at 1:30. the expand command locks the shapes. if you want to change the colors, you have to go back to when you hadn't expanded the object and only do the expanding, if you are sure, you don't want to change the colors anymore. that worked for me
@luknepo4 жыл бұрын
When you expand the shape, it essentially makes all the shapes individual. They are no longer related to each other. Don't expand it and you will only be able to edit the first and last square, which will do the magic on the inbetweens.

It worked for me up to the point of expanding it. Then it would not let me move the squares like you did or recolor them.
@danbobs253 жыл бұрын
Because you expanded. The video says, if you don't expand, you can still affect the colours. Give it another go without expanding and it works.
@GreenCatQueen3 жыл бұрын
@@danbobs25 I tried it again and I was able to change the colors on the non-expanded blend as you said. After several attempts, I was also able to move the squares like he did, in a linked format but not as a solid block. So thank you. I think the instructor should have been more clear about that, but I'm glad you explained it.
