I watched this 9 yrs ago. I loved it. These were so much fun! Made a couple totes for myself. My grand kiddos loved them made up in Halloween fabric for candy totes. Love both of you. I've made this bag several times. Added pockets to the lining, & have used 1 fabric in outside & stitched wavy lines or whatever I felt like stitching in whichever direction I want. I also made pouches to match, & add loops to 1 side of pouch & 1 side of pocket to snap together. Can also snap keys or whatever onto it. The sky is the limit, be creative & have fun😁

this tutorial makes me want to dust off the sewing machine and finally build up the courage to give quilting a try. i've sewn many a skirt/dress, but the many seams involved in quilting has always proved quite intimidating. a project of this size seems like a perfect way to get my foot in the door. thank you for sharing, and (although i am not the first to say it) you two are AMAZING together.

I use to help my Step-Mom sew as a child. I needed a refresher course. She didn't like quilting and it's something I've always had an interest in. Though she made professional wedding dresses. :) I also get a lot of request for little projects. You two, Jenny and Vanessa are my go to for tuturials! Well, this is just fabulous. I started my first bag this week and finished it yesterday at the Sewing Guild(Thursday). Mine is all in Aqua's - I'm making 8 of these for my friends for my annual ladies Christmas luncheon this year. I just wanted to say I love the camaraderie between Jenny and Vanessa. Mine took a bit longer as I cut each piece first as I didn't have any pre-cut fabric, but I didn't mine and everyone at the Sewing Guild loves it.
