why not just cut strips with 45s on the end to make the filler pieces ? also why not glue the whole thing with the super glue then you would not have to worry about squeeze out ?

Hi Marble, thanks for your comments. You could definitely do it that way. In fact, that is how I made the first prototype; super glue and filler strips. I found it to be cumbersome to assemble, which is why I switched to a single piece. On the glue, I just found that I liked traditional wood glue better, but its just a personal preference. Cleanup isn't too bad with a small screw driver. 30 seconds worth of work and you're all set. I would still run a screw driver through if I used super glue, because you need to ensure that nothing is blocking the path of the drawer.

yep that is the thing with doing anything but for sure woodworking 10+ different ways to do the same thing and they all have there strengths and weaknesses The the strips I was just trying to save material and figured gluing each strip with ca glue might make a faster and easier assembly hopefully I will try to knock two or three out while in the shop soon

@@ToolMetrix Gonna try. The other thing is, the magnets I've got are 1/8", so there's that, too... Really like the project and appreciate the video on it. I'll definitely be making several of these!
