Its permanent vinyl so with proper care meaning no soaking and no putting it in the dishwasher it last a really long time. I have had cups with vinyl on them for several years now

The joy is too small to do full wraps. You would have to do it in parts. I would just cut out the shapes and lay them by hand

I love this video!! Thank you for your step by step process. I’ve been using Kayla makes template but still had trouble with the circle in the middle. Your tip to add a circle is an amazing tip! I have a question though, do you put a sealer on your cups? If so, what do you use. I just made a glow in the dark cup but I want to make sure that the vinyl does not come off and idk what to use as a sealer. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

You never need to seal over permanent vinyl and you should never put any kind of sealant on a cup like this. I have used this cup a ton and everything is still holding strong

I love this video... so easy & helpful. I do have a question though... the holographic iron on threw me off as did the hole in the middle that you peeled off at the end... So you don't really use iron vinyl right.. you just use the iron on setting? Do you use regular vinyl? That's where I'm confused. Then you used transfer tape on the snowflakes from end to end so I didn't get how you peeled the whole separately

There is no HTV/iron on used in this video. You just cut the vinyl on that setting as it is thicker than other adhesive vinyl. you use transfer tape to apply the design. When you peel the transfer tape off the vinyl after placing it on your cup the vinyl will stay behind but your transfer tape comes off.

Oh do not need to seal permanent vinyl. Also with a cup like this you cannot seal it. The cup is flexible so any sealant will crack off. Epoxy is unsafe as well.

Yes but you can’t seal on these types of cup. They are a bit flexible so sealants will crack and also some are toxic and will leach through the plastic. There is absolutely no reason to seal permanent vinyl on a cup like this. On a stainless steel tumbler you won’t get a color change effect so there’s no reason to use this vinyl on those.

Hello! I am trying to design a teacher cup for myself using the wrap method. I am having trouble with the welding part since I have so many colors: apple, pencil and ruler. Can you do a wrap with so many colors? When I weld, everything turns red.

you only weld colors that are the same. you can wrap multiple colors. its not super easy so what I do is start with one base layer and then layer each other color individually. trying to line up multiple colors on a wrap is super hard.

I don’t know what you mean by loaf but cricut design space has been having a lot of issues lately. Just close the program and reopen. Also you can only slice two things at once so that could be an issue

It's too bad you don't have a normal email address on your site! I need a couple of wraps made, and need to pay someone to make them! All I need is a blank wrap that is downloadable for a Cricut or Silhouette, and a outline that is printable on a normal printer with legal size paper. I need this wrap to have two tabs and two slots, so the wrap could be easily removed and reinstalled many times! I'd love to find someone I could pay to make this for me! I am 67 years old, and don't instagram, facebook, or any of that stuff!
