@jozefbubez61165 ай бұрын
Yes, don't use your best records! Ideally, the needle tip should be spherical: I think it's .005" for the old 78 RPM. Keep the good work up and some of us more mature people need to teach the kids basic technology!
@sanchitoboc92246 жыл бұрын
Sounds great. The sound of vinyl will always top that of a CD or FLAC even. Even this primitive device ends up sounding so much better than a digital file, as I can hear the analog recording through this video.

I wonder how many records got ruined trying this out?
@majortom45435 жыл бұрын
can somebody enlighten me why there is SO MUCH HATE for Crosley players? Are they garbage literally?
@dragonsmythical16 Жыл бұрын
Even though I got one as a gift I did some research about them and apparently the weight of the needle arm can vary and sometimes isn’t regulated properly so it ruins a record over time. Another mention is the speaker system can disturb the record if loud enough to cause the record to move from the vibrations.

Yes, it does. Simple physics... not that I would recommend playing your records like that as the metal needle is going to destroy them, but it does serve as good example on how the phonograph (older & fully mechanical turntables) work.
