@KnottingHookCrochet Жыл бұрын
Hi Jennifer- there are a lot of colors, I used mostly premier basix yarn and some from my scrap bin. If you had 1 skein of each color with the exception of your main green (mine was fern) and the brown used in the border you will have more than enough. The fern and brown if I remember correctly I needed 2 brown and 3 of the fern green.

So, on the sc "return" rows on the front side do I need to match the cor changes of the previous bobble row, or is it just one color? Not sure what to do when you say "single crochet all the way back".
@KnottingHookCrochet2 жыл бұрын
It looks best to use the same colors, for example if the bobble above and below the single crochet are both black it looks best to use the black. If one is black and the other green either color would be ok.

I used a lot of colors, I got a lot of them out of my scrap bin because they used so little. I did list them in the comment section of one of the videos but I don't remember which one. I know that doesn't help! This is just a partial list but I think I have most of them covered. Black, red, garnet, burgundy, white, leaf green, spring green, fern green, light gray, gray, orange, mahogany, sage, goldenrod, forest green, maize, pink, 3 shades of blue (on the lighter side), linen, rust, and one block uses a bright yellow for 2 bobbles only. The green you use to border each square is the color you will use the most of that and the brown. Mine was the fern green. Dig in your scrap bin first

Hi, I love this pattern. I want to make this for my 13 year old grandson who loves Minecraft. Quick question, when doing the border on the individual squares, you said there are 25 double crochets down the sides. Since there are 8 chain two spaces I'm only coming up with 24 dc stitches not counting any of the 5 dc stitches in the corners. What am I missing? Thanks!

Probably nothing, as long as you come out with the same count each time it will work out just fine.
