Quite nice scene, but I would suggest that you do all the scattering with Geometry nodes instead of the old particles system.

@@dimasputra geometry nodes is meant to be the replacement of the old particles and with different nodes, it has much more potential. And no need to have oddly rotated models to face the correct direction

Salut ! Essaye en version 3.3 de blender, si ca marche toujours pas n'hesites pas à me recontacter. En 3.4 et + il faut que je revois le fichier car j ai eu plusieur fois ce retour. Sinon une solution serait d importer d autres arbres comme dit en fin de vidéo et dans le PDF fourni avec. Il suffit de les mettre dans la collection des arbres a la place des arbres actuels (ne pas oublier de les rotate sur l axe Y pour qu ils apparaissent droit) je te conseille les arbres de polygoniq, la version gratuite de leur add-on a des arbres cool !

Unfortunately this asset works only for 3.3 for now, one fix I found is to apply the geometry nodes for the trees or replace the trees in 3.4+ which is a rather easy fix. I might work on the asset in the next few weeks but time is hard to get these days haha

It is possible by going to the displacement modifier and tweaking it there, also I remember there is an add-on that allows to extract google earth data, you might want to look into that for your personal use ! Highly recommend

Hi, I have bought the scene. Great work, it looks very nice but i have a problem i dont really understand. When i enables the trees particule systems in render preview or in grey box there is no trees in the middle of the road the path is clear but once rendered there trees in the midle of the road.... I dont really understand the problem.

Maybe it s because the subd level in the viewport doesnt match the one in the render, can also be the dynamic paint, delete the bake (delete also the folder with the bake) and redo the bake (with subd levels matching) it s all explained in detail in the pdf provided with the file

My goal was to keep the road flat and that was the post challenging part. I guess you could make is not flat by changing the curve from 2D to 3D and modifying the terrain geometry to match the curve's height That's a more manual process rather than procedural but with the file provided this would work !

That would need a bit of fiddling around but it may be possible, I'd recommend watching a tutorial and making it yourself to make sure you have controle over everything in the scene I recommend the trees from polygoniq , free version is enough by far for simple backgrounds 😁

Depends on your budget but I'd buy a pc with at least Rtx2070 (or 3070+) 16Go of ram You can find that for at least 1700+ $
