Great project, I'm confused why you made 2 parts and then glued them and used filler to fill in the gap, why didn't you just build one box, much less effort.

thank you, I did this to have two rooms, one for the led strips and one for the electronics. Unfortunately, the plywood I use to divide the rooms was not cut as big as the frame, so I chose to putty. It does not matter what the box really looks like, but you may want to paint it black so it does not reflect other light in the room.
