Great explanation of video making process, Jon! It was a shock to me how time consuming it really is...and why I have not made a video in a while, despite really wanting to. As we talked the other morning, there's only so much time, and we have to make choices to "trim the fat" here and there.

Hey Jon, have you ever worked with CA glues? For these glue ups you do for the picture frames it would save you a lot of time. CA glue has many grades to them. You can get a grade that is an instant bond and it’s very strong. No wait time for curing like carpenters glue. Just a suggestion. Appreciate the time it takes to produce these videos. Take care.

Jon … your “system” is great in its simplicity and looks fantastic. How is the actual painted panel made? Is it 1x piece of birch plywood ‘rabbited’ to create the lip needed to snap into your frames? Wasn’t sure if was plywood you are painting on or canvas mounted on plywood. As always, fantastic videos. Mike

The glue is sufficient unless your painting is of an extremely heavy object, like a rock or a tugboat.

Glue joints can fail over time but by that stage you will be very happy with the time it served.
