Oooh,your wreath is so pretty! Your husband did an outstanding job on the door. Our front door and surround needs refreshing, and I have been waiting for the mosquitoes to go away...almost there. We have a massive oak tree, but the squirrels and chipmunks eat most of the acorns. A block up the street is another, with darker colored acorns that they don't eat much, so I can collect there.

One of my favorite things to incorporate in my Fall decor is the stems of Echinacea stems. I've left them natural as well as painted them. ❤ Your wreath is AMAZING, Anna!! 😍

The door looks wonderful! Hello Anna🍁. We too have struggled with ticks in our area, (Maine) although they have decreased towards late summer. That giant oak tree is absolutely magnificent!! I love acorns, I think they are precious little seeds of life. I respect the way you collect leaving some for the forest creatures 🍂. Wreath is beautiful! Whew i hated it when mother made us drink goldenrod tea. It has good properties. But yurrrgh. Your wreath is a Fall/Spring thing of beauty. A little poem i found yrs ago. Winter is an Etching,Spring a Watercolor, Summer an Oil painting, and AUTUMN a Mosaic of them all. This little poem helped me to bear the cold and gray days and short days and made me to know i did love Fall in spite of.❤
