It makes me feel good how, in all these videos, it's clear that there's a useful role for everyone in the family, even if they're old and can't do a lot of the hard work anymore. Her grandfather can't squat down and hunch over to bag up the picked corn, or lift the heavy bags, but he goes through the field to bend the stalks down for pea ladders, saving the laborers of the family that extra work later on. I love the countryside so much! I can see farms with green crops all around. It brings back memories when I was younger and visiting my brother in a remote place where he lived and farmed with his family. You can’t even ride on the road without the corn leaves touching your face. My favorite part of the day was in the morning when the sun was just rising and the surrounding was foggy. Also in the afternoon when it had cooled down and the animals are coming home. It’s so peaceful and satisfying. It was such a pleasure. I’m sure Di’s place is even nicer.

3:18 not sure if anyone notice and curious why there is layer of water around the urn. I googled and learn something new :) The preserved vegetable is fermented in a no air / oxygen environment. Therefore the purpose of it is to avoid the oxygen going into the urn and hence it seals in urn.
