Will amoxiciline or peniciline do the work? how about flashing the petri them with UV light? Will this method work if we add antibiotics to an already contaminated agar plate?

Amoxicillin will probably work and penicillin definitely works (from experience). Not sure about UV light. And if you add antibiotics to an already contaminated plate, it may slow growth of contamination, but likely will not remove it

My man doing open air agar pours with a candle. This I’ve never seen. Question, what’s your contam rate ?! If this works it would have been extremely helpful when I was just starting out

I've never seen someone work sterile with such a puny flame in an windshield. I only worked in that fashion next to a bunsen burner. would be intersting to see how much updraft there realy is (maybe with babypuder). I hate working over boiling water. If it works that's great. makes me hope that with two alcohol burner I could keep enough stuff out and make it easier.
