You might like the ‘Mr. Sticks’ line of seasonings - they’re intended to be used with a stick of butter, for spreads or brushed-on seasoning. Sweet and savory options. I’m pretty sure there’s a connection between Mr. Sticks and Auntie Nono’s. First became aware of it from Mandy in the Making’s channel.

I love the freezer meal idea, but also like taking things out of the freezer and pantry and putting them together so easily. It allows me for more flexibility. I say that as even today I'm making something like your first meal--with leftover ham pieces, alfredo sauce, and broccoli along with some ground up fresh carrots and fresh onion bits. THANK you for the code for Auntie Nono's. I'm buying it on faith since I've never tried it before. LOVE and APPRECIATE this code.

In Ireland we call mashed potato that contains green onions/ spring onions/ scallions 'champ'. Need to try that "Texas toast" NONE of the store bought garlic breads or garlic butters/ spreads are garlicky any more in my view: at least in the UK: so 100% going to make our own and freeze them.

I use a melon baller to scoop my twice-baked potatoes. Gives me a bit more control. 🙃 They really do freeze well! I apply the same process for make-ahead potato skins with smaller potatoes. The tip of crisping the skins was something I picked up from ATK, too - it makes such a difference!

Kimmy you make it look so easy!!! I need to prepare freezer meals for me and my family total of 3 because I am going to have surgery and will need meals during recovery. Not sure how I will feel like cooking. I love to cook and being a mom that is of what I do! Lol so I have been watching a lot of freezer meal videos and getting a LOT of ideas!! Thank you so much for some more and healthy ones too! Love the garlic Texas toast idea!! By the way, have you had problems with Ziploc freezer 2 gallon bags giving out on the bottom? I went to Walmart website and the reviews were not good and recent ones all said this brand did that. Through the 2 1/2 gallon hefty bags were great but they are not freezer quality.

could I make the hash with half sweet potatoes and half russet? regular potatoes are much cheaper in my area and you get more for your money. just not sure if the flavor profile would be off adding russets. also, what did you think about the lessening the amount of garlic? do you wish you had followed the recipe exactly?
