Make all unused vendors inactive in QuickBooks Desktop

You can also make the vendors inactive from the Vendor Center. When you looked at the All Vendors list which shows the inactive vendors with the X next to the vendor name, you can just hover over the active vendor until the X appears and click to apply the X and make it inactive. This way you can also see any activity before applying the X.

Amazing video. One issue that I had, we have loads of vendors and at one point we did a file compress to remove all records (mistake if you ask me). Anyhow, all vendors with no transaction did not show up in the all vendor report. I switched to the report Vendor contacts (reports, vendors, Vendor Contact List, click on customize and then filter and changed to All vendors, this gave me an all inclusive list. Thanks for sharing this video I learned a lot from you, both QB and Excel.
