Cartoons have seemed to replace the bearers of morality that family sitcoms used to fill. modern cartoons aren't the cartoons you grew up with in the '70s and '80s. They have much deeper plot lines and sometimes darker undertones that you really wouldn't expect with shows like Avatar the last Airbender or even ones as innocent as The Loud House. It's rather interesting to watch this and ask the question of how far would Trump's supporters go in supporting him. That's what this makes me think about. For example, if Trump were to start sending illegals to death camps, do you think his supporters would rise up against him? I'm afraid to consider the answer to that question because of how little empathy I see in his base for fellow human beings.

Anyone who has studied basic social psychology knows it can happen very quickly. Mob mentality is a scary thing and you have an authoritative leader suggest something even if irrational, followers won’t question it. This is why every century we go through genocide, colonialism, dictators, no matter how much we learn from the past. This century we will witness great catastrophe perhaps in our own country if we cannot stop Trump and the white supremacy that has recently made a popular come back. This is something that we have to depend on our culture to overturn, which needless to say is a challenge when you're up against millions of years of evolution.
