I genuinely laughed when at the end you mentioned this was only your second bust. You combined real artistry with such careful attention to detail, all of your layers of refinement of the skin were absolutely worthwhile to produce such a beautiful rendering and such realism to the eye. In the process you really demonstrated the value and possibilities of oil paints. The finished work is remarkable to enjoy looking at, but watching how you painted it was an absolute inspiring joy and I thank you for that friend. (In addition to your painting talent the videos were very well made too, and that's a quality work all of it's own)
