Yes you can but sometimes it doesn't track the best and you have to move the polygon anyways. My process is just more precise in my opinon.

BUT the reflection in her glasses is not the car that just drove by her. Instead, we see a very old vintage model of the car. My big question is: How did they split up the vintage car image and track it so well. And, how did they make it look like a reflection (color grading, I'm sure, but still ... how exactly)?

Absolutely brilliant video man . Did everything the way you do but at 2:56 the eyes are not following the car window . Tried so many times with different settings until gave up and keyframed it . This is the way i would do it, so no promise that this is the exact way he did it, but i would mask the car out (prbl with MagicMask), track the Camera Movement like he did in this video, grab Text+ ald animate the In and Out Points. That's it

Great Tutorial, but half the time when I try to use the polygon tool and press invert the image doesn't go away. Sometimes when I restart and open a new project it works but its like a 50/50 that the tool works for me, has anyone else experienced this? Thanks

But I'm old I'm not teck smart I just love the eyes and I've thought about real cars being able to have and move eyes just like the cartoon. Since it came out I've wanted this on my Durango which is called Rango. But I'm technically smart enough to do something like that I'd love to have this on my truck but there's no way possible I could make it.
