0:37 Where did you get these sfx?! The amount of times I've just rewatched this whole video just for the sounds is unhealthy 🤣 Did you record them yourself? I don't know what it is about them but with my speakers it sounds soooo good

I think 40.000 Kb/s is waaaay to much for social. They are going to crush your content 15-20.000 is a sweet spot everyone recommends.

Yea I recommended that last year. Everyone said it was waaaaayyyy too low haha.

I don't remember who I learned it from, but I've mapped Q W and E with trim left to playhead, trim at playhead, and trim right to playhead respectively. it's saved me untold hours of editing just doing that. another useful hotkey is opt+y, which selects everything on the playhead and to the right.

You learned it from me probably as I’ve made that video in the past 😂

Hey Jamie, is this possible to make video in Davinci resilve with effects just like in Film Terminator 2?
@JamieFennКүн бұрын
Which effects?

@JamieFenn I will try to explain it as simple as possible: the tranformations of Terminator T-1000 (played by Robert Patrick).For inszeniert if he got shot, his body got recovered, like a fluid steel. Is it possible to make it with Davinci resolve?

Honestly I totally forgot adding three *** in the sound library shows you the entire sound library… I hope they would have updated it so we didn’t have to do that after all these years.

Hey Jamie, This is a method i had been working on and semi completed in October. Theres a way to work with multiple clips easily in the fusion page for speed ramping, that is non-destructive, and my favorite part, allows you to both add transitions of ANY type, and have a 1 click optical flow for all clips at the same time without having to individually do so for every speed ramped clip (the whole reason i went into a speed ramping rabbit hole) . If interested Let me know and i can explain the process!

I’m mad at KZbin for making me search for 4 hours on how to fix this. This is the only solution that works. Thanks for making this, hopefully KZbin will eventually understand this video has the correct answer.

Entering 3 asterisks (***) or 3 question marks (???) into the search will list the entire contents of the sound library

I'm no expert but couldn't you have used the tracker node on the Lexus emblem so you wouldn't have to reposition it?

Months ago I was trying to create a fusion alternative for a speed tool I was trying to build. I could never figure out how to make it work the way I wanted to until I saw your video and you did something I did not think of trying!! That extra compound clip was the missing 🔑piece!🔥

Just got a new Mac, coming form pc and discovered your channel. Subscribed and will be DLing your stock footage. I find I get discouraged editing when it's my footage cause I feel it's never good enough. But with yours, if I can do it over and over again, I'll learn the ins & outs!

I used to be able to have timeline and clip preview side by side w inspector. Now I have to disable inspector for this. Any insight?

How do you match the speed ramping motion to the beat of the music using this technique? You can control where the transitions occur on the clip, but can you also control acceleration and slow motion in sync with the music? Isn't it easier to achieve this directly in the timeline?
@JamieFenn3 күн бұрын
Where you cut and compound the clip. Then any speed adjustments in the spline will match up.

Another thing you can do is go to a metronome sight that lets you put in your song BPM and it will give you a mp3 download that you can put right into your editor. This way you can make cuts directly to the metronome instead of trying to find the kicks and snares on the track. Its so much easier. Once you start doing it this way there's no going back. It lets you be spot on precise to the beat with your cuts. Then once your done you can either disable the metronome track or just delete it and your good to go. Now when you play the music your cuts will be right on beat.

Noob here: I want the output file to be HDR as well just like what I've put in (iPhone HDR 4k/60)... With the free Version of Davinci, will I be able to process and export it in HDR? I can't find anything about that :-/
