/d/ stands for "document" or "data" and is used to signify the start of the unique identifier (file ID) that follows it. Great info, thank you very much BTW doesn't a google form automatically create a spreadsheet to collect the data?

Hi! At about 49 min you talked about the multiple choice option about the budget. I want to use something similar, but more like what service the person wants: Website, social media, print products and so on... In case someone wants more than just one service I choose "checkboxes" and with a test run I ticked all options, but somehow my spreadsheet always just shows one answer. How do I fix that and make it show every answer? Thanks for your help and keep the good work up!

Hey Sandy, the problem you're dealing with in data types. You have an array ( an array is a list of services, i.e. ["website", "social media", "products"]), but you're trying to paste it like it's a text input. You can only paste one item in an array at a time (i.e. "website"). The answer is you need to create a new module "Tools" > "Text Aggregator", and aggregate the array of services into one text field, separated by a comma ",", and then insert that text aggregator value into the Google Sheet. I would recommend learning about JSON and data types, as this will help you significantly in the future. JSON is a framework to structure data. It consists of key-value pairs. Think about it this way: "name": "Jono" "name": "Bob" "name": "Richard" The key will always remain the same, but the value will change, depending on the person. Now, with values theres multiple different data types: 1. text i.e. "string of text" 2. numbers i.e. 10 3. boolean i.e. true/false 4. objects (Make.com calls these "collections") i.e. {"name": "Bob"} 5. null 6. arrays i.e. ["tag_1", "tag_2", "tag_3"] 7. undefined An iterator, will take a list, and go through that list one by one. But the thing is, not all data types are lists. The only list in the data types mentioned above is an "array". An array looks like this (its a list that always is wrapped in []): [ "tag_1", "tag_2", "tag_3" ] You could iterate through this, for example, and add each tag one by one into a Google Sheet. However, you can't iterate through a key value text pair, because it's not a list. So for example: "tag": "tag_1" This is just a text string, not a list, so you can't iterate through it. In a nutshell, iterators and aggregators are less to do with JSON, but more to do with the data type arrays (lists) in JSON. Lastly, please don't confuse an array [] with an object {}. You cannot iterate through an object. However, you can have an array or anything (numbers, text, objects, etc). So you could iterate through an array of objects Hope this helps!

At 44:21... what is you update the Google form and want to have the google sheet recognize the changes? I have updated my form, re-run the google form module but the sheet doesnt recognize the changes. Anyone else have this?? I've tried deleting the google sheet and re-adding it but it still doesn't see the updated form. It's driving me nuts?!

Hey there, if you have multiple Google accounts, please make sure to select the right one, both for the form and for the Google sheet! If you want to test the results, make sure to enter in a new form submission then click the purple test run button at the bottom left corner. Hope this helps!

Also, if you make a mistake and get the error, "The module is not set up", how can you change it? When I click on the link in the module nothing happens. It won't let me amend it so I'm always having to delete it and start again. This seems odd

Hey, I'm not entirely sure, but I would guess that there are required fields that you haven't entered in that are mandatory for a specific module. Without entering in the details for the required fields, you probably won't be able to save and run the scenario.

Hey there, you're just supposed to upload that JSON blueprint file into Make.com, and it'll duplicate the scenario so you don't have to rebuild it - no need to read it

Hey there, if you're asking about our recruitment, we don't hire 4000 people, we have 4000 people applying to join us! We only hire a few from that total amount. But they work in sales, marketing, project management, accounting, as contractors, editors, managers, etc

It's not a perfect solution, and it's also a steep learning curve, but I believe it's the best solution on the market. You could also try Zapier, but it's more expensive and has less functionality. The pros are it's more beginner friendly and the UI might be a bit nicer Best of luck :)
