It was unearthed arcana if I remember but the flash back was heavy critique, because they made it essentially “the roofie” domain cleric with its abilities and manipulating peoples wills. “Lust domain” would’ve been more appropriate of a name They did end up printing what was originally intended as the love domain cleric but they renamed it the “peace domain” In the printed version. They also disposed of the original love domain unearthed arcana and you can only really read what was made for it from one of nerd immersions old videos on it from when he could even get footage of it still. And now for why it wounded me. Why I was deeply wounded is because I love love, I love the concept of love and all of love’s forms. They abandoned “love” as a domain for “peace” and it made me sad. Love is like a warm hearth, protecting and nourishing allies. I feel like if there was a love domain to be officially printed her made, it is less about charming and more about the aforementioned with some options for wisdom modifier application to some charisma skills, like using compassion or empathy to appeal to someone’s better nature for a persuasion check Y’know?

This is why wizards didn’t make a love domain, this isn’t love, it’s the most evil form of magic, this is awful. I like the idea of this because it makes an evil love god, one of broken hearts and rejections, but also like you said the god of forced will

If I remember correctly, WotC did create a love domain cleric subclass that can be found online but it was never published due some backlash if I remember correctly. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong😅

d&d3.5 = Spell LV1 : Hypnosis. Ask a thing. And after beind under the effect of the spell (spell ended) the guy have a -2 to resiste the check, permanent, non dissipable, non magic. Or you can take the proffesion skill "hypnosis" to do the same wishout magic. So it's respecte rules or non-magical influence for contracte and the ritual of wedding. And ! you cak take the proffesion skill "seductresse" to make a proffesion skill check to seduce, to be better than a native charisma roll. + hypnosis = win at all time (wishoute magic)
