Thanks, Dave! This is one of your best videos. There are often occasions when we are trying to outrun approaching rain, & sometimes tinder is not readily available; this provides a shortt time-framed opportunity to make tinder very quickly. Excellent! I do have a request: Can you show close-up shots of Arrow Wood, its leaves, trunk & branches, etc.? Such pictures would be greatly helpful & appreciated! By the way, I've been a long-time subscriber, but for some reason my subscription was terminated; however, I have re-subscribed. Have a blessed Christmas!

Hi. Do you know other woods whose shavings behave in a similar way, preferably some that are available in western Europe? I doubt we can finf arrowood here. The ferro-rod is rather impressive.
