Let me teach you another way to use your alcohol based markers! Today's card making tutorials include gorgeous vellum card ideas.
Vellum overlay cards create a beautiful translucent layer to your cardstock. The alcohol marker provides intense color that shows through the vellum for impressive designs on cards! While creating these vellum overlay cards may be intuitive with photopolymer stamps because of their ability to 'see through' the image, I'm also teaching you how to use this card making idea with Stampin' Up! cling stamps.

❤ Lisa, we are all learning new things. KZbin keeps upgrading and it's hard to stay with the changes at 76 yo. My RA is so extreme in both hands I stopped quilting decades ago. Lisa, that pressure tool thingy was created by Chuck Meadows who is one of Gina K’s viewers - he saw her struggling to get a good stamping on her card stock so he made one with a curtain rod finial and wood and felt pad - she started calling it a “chuckie” tool because of his name - she asked him if he wanted to make them and sell them and he said “no” - from there the crafting community grabbed hold of the idea - I made mine from the top of a toddlers cup and filled it with little pearls - others have used the lid of a candle jar and the ideas have been amazing
