I use a Mac App Store app called Pinpoint. My needs are pointing & showing right & left clicks, which this app achieves easily.

Good video. Thanks for the app recommendations. I can't believe Mousepose charges a subscription for such simple software. Screenflow is awesome, but it does not show the mouse visuals when using the computer live, like a Zoom meeting.

You can adjust the size as I show in the video. If you are recording using the system tools, you can make mouse clicks appear with one of the Options. Otherwise, you'll need a third-party screen recording tool to do more.

Really useful but when I try the SHIFT CMD 5 for screen recorder, it just Beebs at me, any ideas, is this only in the latest release or something? Keep up the great job

It works in Mojave and Catalina. Otherwise, you need to fall back to using QuickTime Player to record the screen.

@@macmost Thanks Gary, did some research already & you're absolutely right. I have previously attempted to upgrade but my MBP doesn't seem to like it. I'll continue to use OBS Studio, but that option would be great for quick snippets. Thanks for the reply. BTW, DO you know if it is possible in iMovie, when cropping, not to have it restricted to the frame aspect ratio, is to go from square crop to wide screen? Any idea would be gratfully received. As I feared, this refers to the mouse cursor. But I really, really want to know how to increase the text cursor. The blinking line in a Pages or Word document. It's tiny and I'm visually impaired. It's so frustrating. I'm always finding myself trying to find it and it's distracting from my work.Windows lets you go in and adjust the thickness so you can't possibly miss it, but I see no indication that you can do this on a Mac.

Thank you! I didn't know you can make it bigger in ScreenFlow. When I tried to make my cursor bigger in ScreenFlow it looks blurry. Do you know why this may be occurring?

Not sure what you mean by blurry. Did you look at it after the export? If you increase the size it can't magically fill in the pixels.

@@macmost I didn't get a chance to export it yet. I'll have to see if it still looks pixelated after exportation. With this new version of ScreenFlow, my cursor looks small in the recording even if I enlarged it using the Accessibility feature on my Mac. It's frustrating :/

@@risaiswright Screenflow isn't going to take the literal cursor from the pixels on the screen. It will take its location and type and show its own cursor. That's the only way it can possibly do the cursor effects.

Why does the screen colour change with the mouse colour change?

Are you referring to Presentation Assistant? From the preferences window you would think you could change the colour of the cursor. You can't. The color change is a slight tint applied to the whole screen, whilst the cursor spotlight stays white. Not what I wanted at all.
