What a transformation its becoming from looking at the original condition of purchase guys you can really notice the shine of the interior now and your hard work is paying off even though its definitely lightening your hip pockets the value is increasing with every hour spent 👌thanks for sharing this journey also 🎣👍

Awesome progressive video, I get nervous cutting a skin fitting in let alone cutting that big a hole into the side. There’s no easy boat jobs when you see you diving head first into the locker. Great work, loving seeing the process.

Its great seeing the entire project from start to finish. I believe you looked at my fathers scimitar in Hervey Bay. So its that little bit more interesting for me seeing everything pulled apart and redone.

Awesome Ep Guys, I remember when the 1010 came out that year they won the most fuel efficient boat in aus for a pair if a 100hp diesel shaft drives I think cruising at around 15knots

Great Episode guys, Mick that upstairs helm station is Sic live that layout of the two screens and then being able to fold it away 🤯🤯 Awesome. First thing I thought when I saw where you put the microwave in , is will the door open.. or will you need to move the nuke forward a little so it does open. Love your project .. good luck with the restoration. Thanks for the video.

Hey mate, yeah we tested that initially of course before committing to the spot. It does open fine, we just had to jack it up a little above that shelf its on due to the lip at the front. I just used a little piece of that rubber tubing (Vynalite) But otherwise it fits nice & snug. Cheers for the message 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Mick will the Yammers be EFI or mechanical fuel injection ? Will throttles be Fly by wire or cables? I’m sure the gauges will all be on screen displays. 🤔

The new Yanmar 110s are Common Rail engines mate & we have ZF Controls though which are electric over mechanical. The gauges that come standard are analogue with a small digital screen. We have put these downstairs & in the flybridge we have fitted a digital gauge that links to the Garmin MFDs so it has all the gauges on the 12" screen.

Yeah I reckon I could too mate! Its plenty big enough. In the current market second hand they are usually in the 350 to 450k range as a turn key boat depending on fitout & condition of course.

Nothing to do with the speed mate. The old ones were just in a poor state. So weighed up pumping money into them or just fitting new ones....
