The "every 5 deaths=5 push-ups" is actually really neat to me specifically. When I started to really get into the souls series a couple years ago I actually started turning the games into a workout routine using a similar rule. *Every* death = 5 pushups Death to a boss = 5 sit-ups Lose all of your souls = 10 squats And I can't stress enough that the punishments were cumulative. So if I died to a boss, and lost my souls, I would owe 5 push-ups, 5 sit-ups, AND 10 squats. It was actually really fun. Though I hated getting in position to do the workouts every single time, so occasionally I would just let the exercises add up. So long as I actually did them when I was done. Let me tell you, it killed me at times when I had to do about 80 push-ups and 40 sit-ups just after 30 minutes of playing. Definitely helped me get in shape though. I wish I could get back into that, but I had to stop due to a wrist injury a few years ago, (not related to the exercises, but because of me lifting boxes at weird angles at work and giving it too much strain for too long) and I'm always paranoid about possibly re-injuring it by trying to do that kind of workout routine again. :\

The most cursed bit of this is her using mouse and keyboard to play. How the hell does one navigate menus like that? EDIT: NVM she's just uses a mouse _specifically_ for the menu, the worst place to use it. strange creature this cat thing.

I Played Dark Souls 1 using only keyboard, yes you read that right only keyboard my friends thought I was insane, but my mouse didn't seem to be able to work so I just mapped all of the camera controls to the number pad and played like that lol

I played all of Dark Souls and Elden Ring using M+KB. Can't play it any other way.

@@thechrisgrice I played DS3 first on PS with controller, then on PC with M+KB, and I found using a mouse made me much more comfortable using ranged and thrown items. Both have advantages, and it took me a bit to find a M+KB setup that worked for me, but it definitely my favourite control method now.

Have you heard of crowd control? Its and extension which allows twitch chat to directly affect your game. They haven't done Dark Souls 3 yet but they have done Dark Souls Remastered
