Archthrones: Dark Souls 3's Most Ambitious Mod

I wouldn't say carthus was built from the ground up. It seems like the area was built off of Gaels arena, but it was expanded beautifully. I absolutely loved this mod, and I can't wait for the final version of the mod. This has the potential to truly feel like Dark Souls IV. They should hire these guys to turn this into a DLC. Amazing video bro keep up the great work!

Modding tools for ER are a bit more restricted unfortunately iirc. Convergence and Graceborne are probably its most ambitious.

One thing I'd like to say about Flinn and a lot of the Heide Tower enemies is that they will try to block most of your attacks, which seems bad at first, but it makes it easy to stagger them if you keep attacking. This will give you a much easier time against them.

Really refreshing review! Really pleasant video to listen to, I can tell a lot of effort went into editing, it pays off. I played the mod at release and left after a couple levels because difficulty was all over the place and a lot of mobs weren't behaving properly. Hearing about all these fixes made me wanna try it again. I'll give it another whirl when I'm done with Elden Ring dlc!

I just finished watching the video, and man, what a great video, bro. I'll subscribe, and I'll be looking forward to more archthrones content. Something I would love to see be implemented in the final version of the mod after they are done making new areas and bosses is the ability to play the base game with all these new additions. With all the new weapons, items, rings, spells, etc. It would also be great if we could re-fight all the main game or dlc bosses anytime we wanted with the Quellas Tree Mechanic. My idea is that let's say you install the mod, and the game throws you in the Cementery of Ash like the game normally does. You play through the base game normally and somewhere in the base game, I don't know maybe in Anor Londo, in Gwyneveres room, or anywhere, you find an Item that you can either consume, burn in the main bonfire or you give it to the firekeeper in firelink Shrine and after that the bonfire gets a new menu let's just call it "time travel" for the sake of simplicity and it allows you to travel back in time into the Nexus of Embers and all of its levels, and you can warp back and forth at will. I think this would be a great way to expand on the base game while making the mod feel more connected to the canon universe.

That would be really cool, but I am unsure of how technically possible that would be. If you haven't already you should join the mods discord server and suggest that, they have a designated thread channel just for great ideas such as that.

@Bambalony yeah, I don't know how hard it would be to implement that, or if it is even possible. But it sure would be amazing. Yes, I am in their server, I joined a while back and literally left this suggestion about 5 minutes before this comment, lol. I hope it reaches their attention and they take a look at how possible that would be.
