Just a friendly note, the American Flag is always displayed with the blue field to the upper left of the viewer. It does seem normal to just rotate it, but no. On a different note, I’m glad to finally find your channel. Your clear directions don’t need nearly as much head scratching as others, my thinning scalp thanks you. Keep on keeping on. I always love to see what new ideas you have on candle holders. Cool ideas. I've noticed over the last so many years how popular candles & holders have become. I know you love the driftwood stain & living here in Coastal Georgia the Barn wood & drift wood appearance are both big sellers. I personally use a light coat of gray stain on mine since it looks pretty close to bleached out Barn wood as well as Drift wood. Just so you know, now I'm thinking up ways to make unique candle holders. 🤣

Daniel! You are definitely on to some projects! These type are going to have every woodworker hoarding all their cut offs. 😂😂 I understand “South-kaki-laki” language. 😂😂 I don’t know how long you have lived in Charleston but a little story I would like to share with everyone. Back when Hurricane Hugo came through (as you know) was a powerful storm that destroyed almost the whole state of SC. During that a red oak tree fell. It was huge! By the rings of the tree it was estimated to be about 180-200 years old then. So my grandfather had it milled up. I found it all under a shed. Some ends had deteriorated from water damage. I went through it and cut off damaged wood and now store it inside a shop. It’s older now than when the tree fell as you know that Hugo was a very long time ago. If I make it your way or you plan to come towards Columbia I’d like to give you some of it to help with your channel. I think it would “add-a-dab-a-history” to a special project!! See what I did there!!😂😂😂

Dear Bearded Viking, When you charge for your products or projects do you charge for your time, the wood, how many screws or nails you use, the time it takes to design. Reason I ask is I have done small jobs for people and I also have trying to start up a small craft side hustle since I filled for disability and don’t work anymore. It just seems to me like people who you know want things done for less like they want it for free that their not willing to even pay what it’s worth, do you ever go through that since you have a construction background.
