I used to love hauling military freight I’d show up on site and they knew my name before I’d tell them it was crazy

Yessss it actually was very personable. I got to know some of the guards. Going through some of the clearance points made me feel like a badass. I was like look at lil ole me getting cleared for this. It’s just a different ball game form regular cargo. Learned so much.

Hey I have a question. What do you look for in a partner for team truck driving? What are the qualities that make a truck partner compatible?

The biggest thing is hygiene and being clean over all. You may not be picky now but when you spend all that time in a Truck with another person it will matter. Next I need a runner who wanna make money like me. I hate when I have a goal and wanna make a certain type of money and the other person wanna go home. I appreciate a co driver who balances out the shift and doesn’t just want one person to stick to night shift. You’re gonna need to both be ok with compromising. Best team drivers can be family, a friend or your partner. Not saying it will be perfect but theres better chances of longevity. The biggest will always be hygiene though. If I was in CDL school and found out team driving is the best way to start, I’d already be looking around the yard to see who I can convince to start teaming with me. Get to know each other from school.

if you have someone that your sleeping with like a boyfriend or girlfriend that don't have and reason to be home, thats good. atleast you would always have some you know what on the truck

Am the kind of driver who will run with a goal in my mind. i dont mind being away for 2 months just making miles. i just need a co-driver who we can run good miles,someone who values communication and someone who doesnt smoke. Any gender

Trust me I get it. This was exactly how I used to feel when I just started. I saw the opportunity to earn so much in a short period of time and just wanted to run hard while it was good to. Unfortunately it’s hard finding people who want to operate that way.

I literally am an open book on here and told everyone after my termination video I will be taking a 3 months break. I literally even asked for advice on how long of a break is too long from driving😩
