Make my Panda Express honey walnut shrimp copy cart

HONEY WALNUT SHRIMP
CANDIED WALNUTS
2 cup water
1.5 cup sugar
1 cup walnuts
1. Add water and sugar into a pot. Cook this til sugar melts
2. Since sugar melts, add walnuts and bring to a boil
3. Once boiling, leave the nuts to boil for 2 minutes
4. Remove nuts, place onto parchment paper, spread and even layer and allow nuts to dry
HONEY WALNUT SAUCE
1/2 cup Japanese mayo preferred
4 TBSP honey
2 TBSP condensed milk
Juice from 1/2 a lime
- mix this all together
- Adjust measurements as needed
SHRIMP
2 lbs shrimp
4 egg whites
1 cup corn starch
1. Whisk eggs until foamy
2. Then add cornstarch and combine well
3. Then dunk shrimp into batter and then pan fry until golden on both side

The white kind of mayo is, I guess, american or british mayo witch is VERY tangy. Normal mayo like the japanese kind or the one we have in Scandinavia is kind of the same basic normal mayo. Can't get whiter than Scandinavian 😆 also the Scandinavian kind is easy to whip up yourself with egg yolk, oil and a little bit of vinegar, when you know how... very creamy and not as tangy... I bought the Japanese in Denmark in an Asian shop to see the difference from danish mayo... 6$ later I found out it was the same just more yellow, normally I pay 2,50 at max for a good old mayo so 6$ was a lot 😭

When I went to school away from home I think we used lemon juice for the mayo instead of vinegar. We made most food from scratch.not that it was a cooking school, we just had to take turn cooking for the school so we could learn to cook basic shi** when we moved out from our parents 😊
