Make One Purl (M1P)

Great video. But my pattern calls for a M1L after a purl stitch and before a knit stitch on the Right Side. So what am I suppose to do??? I just don't know! Thank you for your help with this matter.

I need some clarification please. You tell us how to make a right leaning and left leaning for the right side of the fabric BUT, I have a pattern that only tells me to do a M1R and also to do a M1L on the purl side (I have no idea what it's supposed to look like on the right side). I just need to follow the pattern -- would you kindly let me know which of those stitches is the one that a pattern ask for as M1pR, M1pL? Thank you kindly.

I love your videos. I've learned so much from them. At present I'm knitting a hat in the round that has flower designs in it. The pattern has one doing the M1R and M1L purl stitches from the right side of the knitting rather than the purl side. When I try to make these stitches something just doesn't look right. Do you have any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?
